What a product demo video company does
A product demo video shows the real interface doing a real task, start to finish, for a buyer who is already interested and wants to know whether the product fits. It is different from an explainer, which sells the problem and the promise to someone who has never heard of you. A demo video company captures or recreates the UI, cuts it to one workflow, writes the narration around the user’s goal rather than the menu structure, and delivers the versions you need: a 60 to 120 second marketing demo, two-to-four-minute sales walkthroughs, feature clips, and silent captioned cuts for feeds. The complete demo video guide covers the craft; this page is about who to hire.
How we chose
Each company had to state software or SaaS as a focus, name software clients, write scripts as well as produce, and have published product demo videos we could watch. We compared them on SaaS experience, demo-specific skill (clean UI capture or recreation, workflow-led structure), video types covered, production model, turnaround, and published proof.

What a SaaS product demo video costs in 2026
Published starting prices on this list: Motion Graphix $1,450 per video, ContentBeta $3,000 a month, What a Story $3,500, Creamy Animation $5,000, Demo Duck $10,000 minimum (Clutch). Across the market a 60 to 120 second marketing demo runs about $1,500 to $12,000, lower when the UI is captured rather than rebuilt in animation, higher for agency campaigns. Two to four minute sales walkthroughs cost more because of script length. Ask whether the quote includes the feature clips, the silent captioned cut and the source files; those are where cheap quotes get expensive. Full breakdown in explainer video cost.
How to brief a demo video company
Pick one workflow, the one that makes buyers say “oh, that is useful”, and tell the studio the user’s goal, not the feature list. Give them a login or a screen recording of the real product and tell them which data to tidy. Decide the three versions you need (marketing demo, sales walkthrough, feature clips) before production so the master is built for all of them. Agree who approves script, storyboard and animation on your side, and how many rounds are included. And ask what happens when the UI changes in six months: who holds the source files, and what an update costs. Demo videos for sales teams and demo versus explainer cover the two most common briefing mistakes.
Quick questions
Which company makes the best SaaS product demo videos?
For a demo of your real UI at a fixed price with every cut included, Motion Graphix. For enterprise series work, Demo Duck or Thinkmojo. For a monthly flow of feature videos, MotionCue or ContentBeta. Choose by production model first, then by portfolio fit.
How much does a product demo video cost?
Published prices run from $1,450 per video to a $10,000 minimum; most mid-sized studios land between $4,000 and $12,000 for a 60 to 120 second demo.
How long does a demo video take to produce?
Two to six weeks. Motion Graphix delivers a first draft in 10 to 15 working days; What a Story runs a four-week sprint; Creamy Animation quotes 3 to 4 weeks after script approval.
Should a demo video be animated or a screen recording?
Animate (or recreate) the UI for marketing demos and app store previews so it stays sharp and updatable; raw recordings are fine for onboarding and support content. Most studios on this list do both.
Can one studio make the explainer and the demo?
Yes, and it is cheaper together because research, script core, design system and voice artist are shared. Motion Graphix’s five-video bundle at $1,000 per video exists for exactly that: a homepage explainer, two or three feature demos and a launch cut in one style.
